Reading the McCabe book, and one of the most enjoyable parts is his extensive description of how intimidating it is to brief Mueller. “Cross-examination is one of Mueller’s most basic forms of human interaction.”
Also funny: Sessions kept thinking the FBI had some sort of navy that could be used to interdict drugs off the coast of Colombia. “Sometimes he went on like this for fifteen minutes.” (The FBI does not have a navy.)
I want to believe this phrasing is a brilliant troll: “Trying to interest Sessions in matters that he was not predisposed to care about was a lost cause.”
Anyway, the McCabe book is definitely worth your time. The stuff on Sessions alone will keep you up for a week just realizing he ran DOJ for two years.
