NEW: Michael Cohen's new attorney Michael Monico just filed a letter requesting a 60-day extension of his surrender date to prison on March 6, to recover from shoulder surgery and testify to Congress.

Michael Cohen has been disbarred, the New York Post just reported.

And now, a sealed document has been placed in the vault in his SDNY case.
Just a note for context: Sealed filings are routine in criminal cases. They're always "placed in [a] vault," and the judge recently ordered Cohen to propose redactions to the search warrants that media outlets successfully sued to unseal.

(Unclear if that's the issue here.)
"A conviction of a federal felony triggers disbarment by operation of law if the offense would constitute a felony if committed under New York law."

One development since the last hearing:

U.S. District Judge Analisa Torres, a federal judge in SDNY, joined the plaintiffs suing Saudi Arabia. I just reached out to her chambers, and she declined to comment.
Generally bustling in SDNY's ceremonial courtroom - presumably chosen to accommodate the victim families and other spectators - for today's hearing in the 9/11 liabilities case against Saudi Arabia.

The hearing is expected to begin shortly.

#FDR promoted the idea that the people of the world, in all nations, shared entitlement to four freedoms: that of the freedom of speech and expression, the freedom of worship, the freedom from want and the freedom from fear.
#FDR is arguably one of the most 'successful' #US Presidents. Some would argue that on the basis of his numerous social policies such as 'the New Deal'. Others, however, would argue that his role during the second world war was more prevalent to his success & everlasting legacy.

#New PA cong. map increases D chance of winning the House majority by 4%. They only need a 6.8% generic ballot margin now (down from 7.7) to be favored.

Diff. will be closer to 10% in Nov when uncertainty from polls is ⬇️. Redraw is a very big deal.

One major reason the new PA map is such a big gain for Democrats is that it solidifies, not just tips, PA districts in Philly burbs. Also creates one additional vulnerable R district. (Easily seen in this map made by @JMilesColeman)
My forecasting model will have new PA map in the near future. This is not just a simple switch; it’s a coding redesign, restructuring of input, & drawing new geographic files. Takes a while (for me, a student).
