2020 dark thoughts: If this were a non-misogynistic, non-racist country, I'd give almost all the Ds a good shot at winning. But that's not reality. Misogyny was a factor in Hillary's loss.
All of the women will lose the "a woman shouldn't be Pres" vote & Warren's the most vulnerable because she's an intellectual giant, a Hillary-V2.
To the extent that the pro-tRUmp vote was an anti-Obama vote, Cory & Kamala are most vulnerable and Harris hits 3 hot buttons (race, gender, "mixed" marriage.)
Which pretty much leaves us with Bernie, Joe and Julian. Bernie would be an awful Pres, Joe would disappoint. Julian I know too little about. Unannounced: Beto's charismatic but too inexperienced for me. Which leaves Sherrod Brown, if he gets in.
N.B. I will vote for any D over #PutinsPuppet, even the despicable Tulsi, & I truly do not want another White guy in the WH. But when I consider ONLY electability, Brown seems the best bet. I don't think tRUmp can bait him, & he has the experience.
What I fear is a Dem replay of the Rep primary, with Bernie's cult surviving a split among all the other Ds. An election between 2 old, angry, slogan-delivering, bombastic White men would be incredibly disheartening.
