The reason why SPICE kit fitted bombs released by IAF Mirage 2000 fighters couldn't (or could?) have missed their target during #IndiaStrikesBack

The thread should also help you understand how the M2Ks struck multiple targets with such ease.
The SPICE bomb kit features a E0/GPS-guided seeker with a CEP of less than 3m in day/night and adverse weather The bomb kit is data-linked to the launch aircraft.
Either on the ground or in the air, the bomb maybe loaded with up to 100 different mission profiles - target coordinates, desired terminal glide & azimuth angles, topographical data, and target imagery.
Before release, the pilot selects the mission profile. Depending on the height of the releasing aircraft and the mission profile, the SPICE 2000 bomb may be released up to 60-km away from the target.
Following release, the weapon autonomously glides towards the target.

Approaching the target, the seeker, using scene matching algorithm, compares the electro-optical image from its EO sensor with the target image in the mission profile and identifies the target.
Having identified the target, the weapon autonomously homes on to the target adjusting flight path to achieve the desired impact angle and azimuth.

If the target is obscured, the bomb reverts to GPS guidance.
Over the datalink, the pilot or WSO sees the image from the kit's EO sensor on the cockpit TV\IIR display and can manually guide the bomb to its target using a joystick.
If the target is obscured, precluding scene matching and pilot joystick guidance, and GPS signal in the target area is jammed, the bomb would stray off the intended flight path.
