2) The Trump-Kim Summit is not as much about the DPRK as it is about Beijing being willing to give up control over the DPRK.

3) If the MOU is not dragon friendly, Chairman Xi would not be allowing Chairman Kim to get close to POTUS Trump.

10) Watch closely, Trump may instruct USTR Lighthizer to withdraw the formal notification of suspension. Not sure how, but Trump will hit back at Xi hard.
11) What President Trump *will not* do, is acquiesce to China to get Chairman Xi free. For multiple reasons Trump will not lessen the U.S. trade position against China.
