The “discovery” in this case was significant. Even if I (we all) lose, the consolation prize (besides an eye-watering legal costs bill) is knowing that I now have over 2000 pages of legal documents chronicling the twilight of Cambridge Analytica.

If we hadn’t requested data we wouldn’t have proven it was processed in UK, subject to their laws. If we hadn’t challenged liquidation it would’ve been rubber stamped. Then House Judiciary wouldn’t have been able to include CA and SCL on their recent list. judiciary.house.gov/story-type/let…
I may be girding for a bruising loss. My loss and crushing costs may discourage others from pursuing private citizen action in other situations. We accomplished things that the government could not have achieved without parallel private action. It’s why I really hope we win this.
Members of Parliament shared our concerns about the insolvency. But it took an American represented by top barristers, a big firm, and an award winning solicitor @RaviNa1k to do something about it and seek justice. Now it’s up to a judge to deliver it.
