New video released by #IslamicState's Amaq News yesterday (3/18) includes two new clips/images of women taking up arms and shooting guns. Confirming earlier reports that women were fighting in 'defensive jihad'. Extremely important as this was released by #ISIS themselves. 
The #IslamicState has been adamant that women should only be allowed to fight in 'defensive jihad' and only under specific circumstances. ISIS's use of women in an official video confirms that those circumstances have been met, and is a statement about the current state of ISIS.
As has been pointed out it is hard to identify if these individuals are actually women due to them being completely covered. That being said, a new video has just surfaced that shows a woman holding a gun and speaking to the camera. Thanks @Josiensor
