Give it a whirl. You may be surprised... For instance, there have been 10 EU-funded projects and schemes over the years within a mile of my house. Stuff I would never have known about.
Before you say "it's our money", the EU through its regional development fund ensures that a good proportion of the funding goes to the most deprived areas - exactly the sort of places that successive UK Governments have turned their backs on.

Tory Junior Ministers conspired to deliberately and consciously sabotage the Brexit indicative vote process. Every day brings new heights of outrage!
And here's a list of 28 Tories who voted against all 8 proposals... Will they dare to do the same on Monday with the media and the country watching? (Stupid question: of course they will. They couldn't care less.)
If there's any justice this should tempt at least a few Tories, invested in the indicative vote process and determined to make it work, to vote down MV2.5 even if they supported MV2. At the moment, Brexit is like a football match where the referee, linesmen etc. are all dirty.

And that void has been dramatically exacerbated by Brexit, and its growth accelerates with every additional day of chaos and confusion.

Since the referendum, 48% of the electorate (and growing) have felt largely bereft.
At this point I'd gently draw attention to my 8R suggestion...

Theresa May's deal has - on both attempts - secured significantly less support than a #PeoplesVote achieved tonight.

But the Government groundhog day rhetoric continues...

The public deserves better than this #BrexitShambles - we should #PutItToThePeople Handwritten tallies of votes for different options
Let's just analyse those figures.

#PeoplesVote secured the biggest vote in favour - 268 votes

Obviously I'm not a fan of first past the post, but it did beat all the other options.

In an ironic twist, the vote share on this was 48% - 52%...

If parliament backs a customs union in the indicative votes, why shouldn’t it back May’s Withdrawal Agreement?

First, let’s be clear: the backstop is a misleading name. In the absence of any known alternative, it isn’t a fall-back but rather the default.

Given the absence of alternatives for the Irish border, and the fact that the withdrawal agreement has no mechanism for exit and allows only for a one-time extension of the standstill transition, the backstop must be assessed as the future destination (see Robbins, O.)

The problem is the lack of control—too little attention has been paid to the risks of being within a customs union without a say.

Off to give evidence to @CommonsEUexit this morning on #EUCO, but since #IndicativeVotes is likely to come up, let's run through the options to consider the EU's probable view on them

1/
A) "Constitutional and accountable government" is about not changing Standing Order 14, so not an EU concern per se

2/
B) "No deal" is what it says and raises no technical issue for the EU, especially in light of recent statements that prep from this is all set

...IF longer extension agreed, meaningful vote goes down, and UK takes part in European elections
European Elections will have to begin to be prepared in April.

Both trying to take wind out of sails of Benn amendment AND provide incentives for ERG to vote for deal...

Are the ERG frightened of European Elections though? I’d presume they presume they could do quite well...
.Number 10’s message to ERG & DUP:

Vote for current deal by next week and get Brexit agreed this month and enacted by June at latest

OR

Vote it down, and get indicative votes where Commons majority rules (ie Norway [Plus] perhaps referendum) a long extension, and EU elections
