Thread I'm still furious after yesterday. I won't be engaging with any council officials trying to move us. Our priority is claimants needing help. We won't be stopping our demos and I won't be bullied into sibmission.
We've already stated where we will stand and we aren't in the way of anyone. Officialsfrom @TamesideCouncil it's our legal right to conduct a peaceful protest and we have done so for over 5 years.
We've helped countless amounts of people over the years and have prevented suicides, hunger, distress etc. We are there to right the wrongs that the DWP do on a daily basis.
Its ludicrous that a Labour controlled council who is supposed to be in opposition to the government's war on the poor and disabled, wants to move us. They want to whitewash us. They want to end our campaign.
But we aren't going to stop. We aren't moving round the corner out of the way. We aren't accepting the offer of a desk inside on a Thursday as long as we stop the demos. We won't stop until the DWP stop persecuting the poor and disabled.
@TamesideCouncil you chose to allow the DWP to share your new building we didn't. Stop trying to cosy up with the DWP and find your labor party principles and support us instead of harassing us.

When I say protest etc I mean campaign because so much time and work goes into it. It's a campaign to end the cruel people heartless treatment towards disabled people and the poorest and most vulnerable. We won't stop until that stops.
