4 things I think Jeremy Corbyn should ask for up front:
- A50 extension at least until end of 2019
- UK participation in European elections (to keep all Brexit options open)
- Primary legislation making "revoke A50" the default outcome, i.e. stronger version of Cherry amendment
- Stand down no deal preparations so that firms have stability, and civil servants can go back to their day jobs
And in return, he could pledge to give Theresa May 6 full months to get Brexit sorted, during which time Labour will not hold or support a VONC.
After that, the serious talks can start. I think Jeremy Corbyn ought to ask for a people's vote, and stick to his guns on the CU+SM. But if no deal were really dead and buried, that's a huge step forward.

Of course, all of the above is fantasy. But wouldn't it be nice...
