Before you go thinking that Dr. Kim is nothing more than an anglophobic neo-Marxist shill tasked with launching a revisionist attack against white people and their European history, let’s review the phylogenetic composition of the Vikings.

Krzewińska et al. (2015) analyzed mitochondrial DNA markers in late Iron Age (AD 550–1050) skeletal remains from Norway (n=45). Melchior et al. (2008) skeletal remains from Denmark (~AD 1000) (n=10).

Viking population mitochondrial subclades descend from haplogroups H, K, U, V, I, T and J which cover 97% of the sample group and all of which are European represented in Table 1 (Norwegian remains). We see an overlapping result with haplogroups in Table 2 (Danish remains).

There is less dispersal among Viking Y-clades I1, R1b, R1a, N1c which are more concentrated and geographically aligned with the present-day Scandinavian population.

Subclade analysis, NMDS, and Fst variance show Vikings were about as European as any tribe could possibly get, and there’s no genetic evidence or anything in the fossil record to suggest there were scattered Africans, Arabs, or Mongols running around interbreeding with Vikings.
