We're in the South Bronx to unveil some of the first all electric, zero emission delivery trucks in America.

These trucks are the future of NYC's truck fleet & we're helping to pave the way by showing they're clean, efficient, and economical.
The trucks produce 0 tailpipe emissions of the pollutants that make our air dirty & dangerous, and they're cheaper to operate.

This is also an environmental justice issue: the majority of health impacts of air pollution are felt in low-income & communities of color.
We provided trucks to 6 non-profits in NYC using funds our office obtained from a settlement with American Electric Power, the nation’s largest power company, over their violations of the federal Clean Air Act.

We indicted three individuals for their alleged roles in a “pay-to-play" bribery scheme surrounding the rebuilding of the World Trade Center that came at the expense of the @PANYNJ.

These individuals exchanged lavish gifts for preferential work treatment & confidential info.
Among other gifts, a WTC official received expensive sports tickets & travel from 2 electrical contractors working to rebuild the World Trade Center in exchange for confidential info.

They also squandered @PANYNJ funds & put lives at risk by hiring unqualified electricians.
These individuals were trusted with rebuilding the site of the worst terror attack in American history, but instead, allegedly squandered public funds to line their own pockets.

We will crack down on corruption & work to ensure public integrity & accountability throughout NY.

We have zero tolerance for discrimination or harassment in our schools–that’s why we investigated the Chapel School in Bronxville after receiving a report alleging a teacher simulated a "slave auction" in two separate fifth grade social studies classes.
The mock auctions included a simulation of chains or "shackles" being placed on the black student's necks, wrists, and ankles, and the "sale" of the students to their white counterparts.

The teacher was terminated when the school discovered these horrifying events took place.
As a result of our investigation, the Chapel School will hire a Chief Diversity Officer, provide a plan for annually increasing the diversity of it’s teaching faculty, & commit new financial aid resources to maintain a diverse student body.

BREAKING: We're announcing the takedown of two major drug rings that have been operating across Central & Upstate NY.

This operation resulted in a 93 count indictment against 65 people arrested for their alleged roles in flooding the region with heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine.
Between the 2 rings we recovered approximately:

4.7K bags of heroin & fentanyl worth $140K.

2 kilos of cocaine worth over $200K.

Multiple firearms & over 75K in cash.
Since 2017 we've taken 437 alleged traffickers off the streets.

Let this serve as a loud & clear message: there is zero tolerance for drug trafficking in NY & we'll hold those accountable to the fullest extent of the law.
