1/ This thread focuses on some solid information I have about $TSLA's intensifying efforts to harass & intimidate $TSLAQ member @skabooshka. Let's start with why the thin-skinned & egomaniacal Elon Musk would despise & detest ska, and wish him ill.
2/ $TSLA is in desperate straits. After two seemingly decent quarters in the back half of 2018, it appeared the Model 3 might rescue the company, which lost approximately $800MM last year...
3/ But, as those following $TSLAQ knew, the success was only apparent. Three years of backlog were exhausted in a matter of months. Demand for the high-margin variants dried up. Q3 & Q4 results were helped by FIT cliff, regulatory credit gimmicks, & warranty reserve games.
4/ Europe in Q1 recapitulated US: all high-margin Model 3 demand, built up over three years, was exhausted in six weeks. Huge drop in deliveries, huge drop in S&X sales, with competition just arriving. Look for revenues to be down and EPS to be negative (again, permanently).
5/ Meanwhile, that old Musk magic just isn't what it used to be. The Boring Company event? A joke. The Model Y reveal? A catastrophe. Musk, accustomed to endless adulation, was not getting skeptical press coverage.
6/ Recently, more bad news from Asia, as the spat between Panasonic and $TSLA means, at a minimum, that the grand story of these two "partners" leading the way to materially lower battery costs is a total bust.
7/ Now, $TSLA has its back against the wall. It badly needs a new narrative. The Shanghai "gigafactory" fooled no one. Time for the final throw of the dice: an "Investor Autonomy Day" at which Musk will try to sell FSD snake oil. Great story here: latimes.com/business/autos…

10/ Astonishing that $TSLA, at this late date, was still preparing for next week's event. And now ska has made it far more difficult for $TSLA to present some heavily edited, doctored video (as it did in the infamous "Paint it Black" event several years ago).
11/ We learn that someone has been tailing ska. A car, following him everywhere. $TSLA has harassed his parents. From ska, this note:
12/ "About a month ago, $TSLA fabricated a story that I ran over a Tesla security employee. They used this to send police to my parents’ house, and intimate them/me."

18/ Let's be clear about the $TSLA TRO application. It is a total LIE that @skabooshka in any way interfered with the $TSLA vehicle, or that anyone encouraged him to. If ska interfered with anything, it is with @elonmusk's efforts to further perpetrate the fraud that is FSD.
