One of the most misunderstood rituals we have in Islam is istikhara (the prayer for decision-making).

The two most common myths regarding istikhara are:
1. "I'm waiting for a sign or dream."
Istikhara prayer never asks for a sign or dream. It simply asks for Allah to facilitate what is best.Often our answer to our istikhara is that things start to work out towards that outcome,or the opposite happens& obstacles start to appear
2. "I prayed istikhara before I got married, so why didn't the marriage work out?!"Istikhara guides us to what's best 4 us-not necessarily what's easy. Its a bit like asking a personal trainer to do what's best for your health. As many of u know, that's not always what's easiest

Islam is not a race. Islam is a cultural, religious & political system of interest to kafirs (non-Muslims) since it determines how we’re defined & treated. The Islamic political system is contained in the Koran, Hadith (the traditions of Mohammed) & his biography, the Sira.
Islam divides the world into Muslims & unbelievers, kafirs. Political Islam always has 2 different ways to treat kafirs—dualistic ethics. Kafirs can be abused in the worst ways or they can be treated like a good neighbor.
Political Islam is the doctrine relating to the unbeliever, the kafir. Islam’s relationship to the kafir can’t be religious since a Muslim is strictly forbidden to have any religious interaction with them. The religion is what’s required to avoid Hell & enter Paradise.

9/11 was my 25 yr wedding anniversary.

I was at home in MN instead of New York holding a conference call.

Most of my team was in NY. I was introducing another team to explore a joint effort.

My guys were mostly Soviet Era Jewish immigrants.
2- My guys came over as teens in the 1980s.

I started the call when I received a call from my wife. (Ex wife now). She asked if I knew the WTC tower was hit. I said no and turned on TV.

Shortly afterward the second plane hit the second tower
3- everyone except me was in NYC or nearby

I told everyone on the call what was happening.

A guy from the new group exclaimed his fiance worked in the WTC. He dropped off. One of my guys said his wife, a pharmacist, worked around there too. I told everyone to take day off and..
