The GOP leadership now uses “middle class” as though it were an insult. Notice that shift.
The GOP is now also referring to middle-class people as a “mob.” See the shift? This is language we haven’t heard before in our democratic history. It’s MONARCHIST language. It’s what the colonists who wanted to self-govern were called - a middle-class mob.
Some of us hollered for years that “Inherited extreme wealth creates inherited aristocracy - a small class of ppl who believe power is theirs by birth, and not yours at all.”
We warned against cutting estate taxes. We wanted to raise them. Even our own Dem leaders didn’t listen.
