I have a hard time believing the people of Ohio, India, Pennsylvania & Wisconsin who voted for Trump did so so he would change the leaders of Venezuela - especially since he said he was against such campaigns. If they wanted that, they had Rubio & Jeb, then Hilary, on the ballot.
Trump voters should feel pretty betrayed having listed to a candidate for two years rail against neocon orthodoxy, only to end up empowering the most extremist neocons and giving them free rein to pursue the darkest parts of their imperial agenda (same with "Draining the Swamp").
Yes, I meant Indiana, not India. Thank you people of Twitter for your kind and generous method of correcting my phone typing error.

We've read the Mueller report. We know what it says. It obliterates the conspiracy theories. And Mueller said Barr's letter *wasn't misleading*, just that media coverage overread it. But this is the 3-year-history of this story: one-day media hysteria on Twitter that goes nowhere
For 3 years in this story, there are always key lines in these new BLOCKBUSTER! articles that negate the 12-hour Twitter meltdown that evaporates into nothing. This is that sentence here. We've read the Mueller Report and know what it says about collusion, and that this is true:

Nothing will destroy journalism's reputation faster than creating new rules to conceal newsworthy info in the public interest. It's the literal antithesis of journalism. And nobody - nobody - believes they will apply these new rules if an anti-Trump country hacks dirt on Trump:
Both the dirt on Manafort and the Steele Dossier came from foreign officials trying to interfere in the election - the case of the former, from the Ukrainian government working with a DNC agent. Why are there no conscience examinations over that? politico.com/story/2017/01/…

As someone who was one of the first & most vocal proponents of various conspiracy theories about Trump & Russia - including writing a whole book about it with @DavidCornDC - @Isikoff has been one of the very few willing to talk about what the media got wrong, how and why. Kudos:
One of the most important moments on cable news in the last 2 years: @Isikoff explaining clearly - on MSNBC no less! - why the Stone indictment should have been viewed as disproving huge parts of the conspiracy if the media were being minimally rational
As soon as Mueller made clear that Trump officials had no idea what WL had & therefore needed Roger Stone to try to find out - in the *weeks* before WL published - that, as @Isikoff said, disproved the Steele Dossier & the conspiracy theories. Why didn't the media point that out?

.#Wisconsin story, prominent elsewhere. @ScottWalker made his position on #ACA very clear for years: he hated it & wanted it repealed, if not by Congress than by the courts. Now he’s fudging on pre-existing conditions after all this time. He’ll debate @Tony4WI on this Friday.

I'll start with a bit about myself. I was born in the Hamlet of Tuktoyaktuk in 1967. I was taken at birth and put in a receiving home. At 3 weeks of age, I was placed in a foster home in Ft. McPherson. This placement ended up as my permanent home.
The family I was placed with were teachers. He was German, she was American. He was just out of university and started his career in the NWT. They were told that I needed a home. That I was not wanted. They were told this by the social workers.
