Not to mention the only Democrat since Carter to go north of 50 percent in the popular vote....

Carter 1976: 50.1%-48%
Clinton 1992: 43%-374%-18.9%
Clinton 1996: 49.2%-40.7%-8.4%
Gore 2000: 48.4%-47.9%
Obama 2008: 52.9%-45.7%
Obama 2012: 51.1%-47.2%
H. Clinton: 2016: 48.2%-46.1%
Barack Obama won by the most crushing majorities any Democrat had since LBJ: winning by 10 million and 5 million votes in 2008 and 2012 respectively. Next best Dem performer? A woman: Hillary Clinton, who won the popular vote by 3 million votes. Just sayin... #electability
Democrats just don't seem to accept who their base is: 9/10 black voters, 7-8/10 LatinX and API voters, 8-9/10 Native American, Muslim & Jewish voters, close to half of white women voters, most LGBT, maybe 3/10 white male voters, most nonwhite+a plurality of wht college grads.
Even if the goal, for whatever reason, is to restore more WWC to that mix, the majority of WWC and white rural people who lean Democratic on issues are NON-voters: lower income & poor white (and non-white) folks who aren't registered & don't vote at all. That's 4/10 adults.
Perhaps Democrats should register some of them and explain to them consistently how voting could help improve their lives, rather than fixating on converting WWC Republicans?
