Demands for testimony/docs now coming fr both parties, both chambers. Effort by WH/Barr to deny Congress knowledge, space to continue inquiry suffered big blow yesterday; Wray’s dismissal of “spying” deeply damaged WH alternative narrative. Curtain being pulled back on Wizard.
2/What remains extraordinary is WH/Barr believed they could get away w/a disinfo campaign so at odds w/Mueller report, common sense, the law, dem norms. Story they crafted abt Mueller and the inquiry is at its core ridiculous, and is slowly, painfully, crumbling.
3/Combo of the farcical nature of Barr's story coupled w/the intensity of the disinfo campaign suggests Trump has an awful lot to be worried abt from the full Mueller report, Mueller himself, any continued investigation and the counterintel report soon to be in Schiff's hands.
