George Osborne sees 2nd referendum as 2 choices: "My guess is that we’ll end up with just two: no deal or no Brexit. For leaving with a deal is dead. The numbers in the Commons aren’t there for Theresa May’s deal; and the EU won’t negotiate a new deal with a new Tory leader..."
He may be on to something. The Brexit Party and others will fight until the end of time anything that's not a "pure" Brexit as they see it (ie damaging no deal). But if it's a straight up "Remain vs No Deal" they have nothing to complain about, though I'm sure they will anyway.
And that utterly stark choice should motivate companies to come off the fence and take an active political stance, or risk the asteroid strike of no deal, entirely forewarned that's the consequence. So the Remain position should be vastly bolstered.
