You ever have that friend who every year their favorite player on the Blazers is a white guy and you start to see the pattern and realize that person might be a lil racist?
Every year there are way too many people who’s favorite player is like our 9th man. Maybe just cuz they see themselves in the white Guy? Idk but it’s weird and like one of the last low key racist things you can completely get away with these days.
Like you go to the blazer game and there are as many Layman jerseys as McCollum and you have to wonder what is going on. I think this exists in ever city.

I’ve created a homeless resource guide for the entire city of Atlanta. This guide should have every resource a person struggling with homelessness could get. It also has coupons for things like tents, meals, coats, etc from local businesses. I’m super proud! Creating thousands.
It will be actually a bound book and can fit in someone’s pocket. So excited to get these out.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to ask Bernie Sanders if he believes, as MLK did, that capitalism and racism are tied together and you can't get rid of one without the other. Also, if he condones those who attack people like me who dare to ask him this. Here is his response:

The Republican Party needs to be destroyed. We need to start talking in terms that reflect the dire situation we are in. The party is engaging in an all out war on women, the planet, our neighbors, our children. What will the history book say if we do not stand up?
The Supreme Court is not going to save us. The democrats are not going to save us. This is not a time for business as usual. The rules don’t apply anymore. People are already dying, we aren’t even going to have a planet anymore if we don’t step up.
Fascism is on the rise, the effects of unfettered capitalism are killing us and the planet and women’s rights are under attack. Voting isn’t enough. It’s part of it but not enough. We need to agitate, organize, fight. Now or never.

So I’m walking back to my hotel alone fairly late last night and two young black guys turn a corner and are walking right behind me. And I’m thinking “the stereotypical old white guy is supposed to be made nervous by this but I’m not. Am I post-racist or just quite buzzed?” /1

3. Bruce spoke about the water & land protectors in the most dehumanizing terms he’s allowed to on morning radio. He called First Nations peoples DTES homeless derelicts “unaware of what they’re protesting anyway”, merely looking for a place to squat.

.Every day in twitterverse I watch straight young white people who identify as "progressive" demean and diminish the lives of the marginalized & insist that WE need to recognize that "economic security" is the #1 issue all liberals need to focus on which will then solve all. (1)
