FWIW, here's a handy comparison of the implementation timelines for the #MFA bills vs. the #Med4America bill. Note that BOTH would keep the VA and IHS in place. Aside from which would be mandatory vs. optional, the other big difference is *how* the transition is phased in.
Under #MFA, ~97% of the pop. would be mandatorily transferred over to the new program within 2 or 4 years, regardless of what their current situation is. Under #Med4America, ~55% would be mandatorily transferred over within 5 years; the rest would have the *option* of switching.

So yesterday, @RosaDelauro & @RepSchakowsky re-introduced their #Med4America universal healthcare coverage bill. It’s important to note that BOTH of them are members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, and Schakowsky is also a co-sponsor of the House #MFA bill. 2/
@rosadelauro @RepSchakowsky In other words, this is NOT a battle between “progressives” and “centrists”. #Med4America is *very* progressive…while also, in my view, simply being more practical than the “pure” #MFA bills. It starts out as a robust Public Option for 2 yrs, but then becomes MUCH more. 3/

#Idlib_Dawn operation began May 6 targeting #Qalaat_alMudiq axis on #Hama

At least 10 loyalist KIA including 1 on Jub Ahmar (#Latakia/#Hama border)

HOWEVER May 6 was also 'martyrs day' so Facebook was flooded w/ old martyr posts making collecting accurate data very difficult.
7 of these deaths were #Tiger_Forces w/ 6 from #Taha_Regiment's Maskana Group and Omar Naqr Group (pic)

Jub Ahmar death was from #4th_Division, although I was told there were many other deaths here not reported on loyalist social media.

#Thread There may have been sabotage last week, but a look at the power utilities report to Nersa paints Eskom on the brink of collapse. Eskom's own report describes a litany of severe faults with the new power stations' most important components...
So problem one is the technology Medupi was built with which is very modern technology... Way mismatched to the low grade coal quality in the ground at Lephalale. The Eskom report details poor coal is damaging every part of Kusile and Medupi.
Then Eskom admits that design and technical requirements are not met. The Mills to pulverise coals don't meet technical specs. The boilers' design means they overheat. Coal damages them. The filter plant to filter fumes is damaged by coal & excess ash builld up & trips often.

Massive line-up outside courtroom 6-1, the largest courtroom at Superior Court for Day 1 of serial killer Bruce McArthur’s sentencing hearing. Everyone must go through a metal detector before entering the courtroom. Metal detectors at also the front doors of the courthouse
This morning we expect to hear a long version of the agreed statement of facts. That could take quite awhile as the crown will likely go through each victim. How they met Bruce McArthur, how they were killed, dismembered and disposed of.
Crown Attorney Michael Cantlon indicated last Tuesday when Bruce McArthur pleaded guilty to 8 counts of First Degree murder, that some family members of the victims have already indicated they will sit outside court when those details are read out. They will likely be horrifying
