3\ Now that it's a mere tunnel (no skates or sleds), it will move at normal traffic speeds. If someone gets a flat, or runs out of gas, or drunkenly crashes, everyone behind them has to remain safe. Say good bye to 150mph, say hello to 35mph.
4\ Finally, the tunnel @elonmusk built is undersized and unsafe. It'll need to have at least another lane next to it for emergencies, as well as exits above. Say, Mr. Engineer, what happens to cross sectional area when diameter is doubled?
