IMPEACHMENT THREAD - Here's the possible outcomes for impeachment.

1) Do nothin'. Trump wins in 2020. Dems remembered as cowards and Democracy is damaged beyond repair.
2) Do nothin' and naively hope Trump can't suppress enough votes or wield enough foreign influence to stop a Dem victory.
3) Impeach. Senate acquits. We've seen no evidence from Barr's initial "exoneration" of Trump to suggest that a Senate acquittal would have any impact on Trump's numbers. Impeachment would force some vulnerable GOP Senators to defend Trump and possibly impact their 2020 hopes.
4) Impeach. Senate convicts. Mueller's evidence, coupled with possible developments in SDNY and other courts could be so overwhelmin' that even the Senate would have to convict or face a 2020 blue wave wipeout.
5) Impeach. Trump Resigns. As with #4 above, overwhelmin' evidence could force GOP to pressure Trump into resignin' to protect their 2020 chances.

MINI-THREAD on the Mueller Report

1) Folks are frettin' because they're afraid the Mueller Report will be hidden by the White House through Trump's Attorney General and lackey, Bill Barr.
2) Remember this. This ain't Mueller's first rodeo. He's rolled up mob bosses on more than one occasion and he's clearly treatin' Trump just like one. The only thing different about this probe is that this mob boss is the most powerful man on the planet.
3) Mueller ain't stupid or naive in the least and there's no way he's gonna spend two years of his life on this investigation only to have it filed away in Bill Barr's top drawer.

Mini-thread on the NYT bombshell.

1) Over a year ago, folks like Rachel Maddow and others reported rumors that a MSM outlet had damnin’ information includin’ secure intercepts that would bring down the Trump administration.
2) It was also reported that they were withholdin’ release of this story at the request of Bob Mueller so as not to compromise his on-goin’ investigation.
3) One of the NYT reporters stared he’d been workin’ on this story for about a year and a half. It seems he could have reported on parts of this story months ago, doesn’t it?

He travelled in KSRTC buses and covered 5 districts in 10 days without revealing identity. He took leave for serving his homeland in the time of crisis. Kannan is a native of Kottayam. Even his relatives were not aware of his unofficial visit! (2/n)
It was only after Eranakulam Collector Y.Safirulla's visit to centre at KBPS press, the volunteers of the camp came to know that the guy who was helping in loading goods was an IAS officer! (3/n)
