One of the mantras of this gov is that "poor people are lazy". I've heard it regurgitated as if it's a common phrase in Tory circles. They ignore this though, poverty for people working their arses off.. #FBPE "4m Britons in poverty despite having jobs" theguardian.com/money/2019/may…
I think one of the things that gets me about the above fact is that people who say poor people are lazy have such a simplistic self righteous lack of understanding of the reality of Neo liberal economics it's scary. They just have no idea of the mechanics... 2/
We are talking about a system that generates inflation in a recession. Think about that, it's contrary to natural laws of economics. It can only happen in a contrived & rigged system, oligarchy, that forces prices up and drives people into debt & poverty. 3/
It can not continue at least if we want to live in a civilized society. For sure if it does continue it WILL drive the rise of nationalism as hardship always drives the rise of nationalism. It will focus more wealth into the hands of the very few who will try to control us. 4/
And the people who tar the poor with being work shy will be the very same shocked at the results of, basically, burning hope. Take that away and what have people got? They've got nothing... and nothing to lose. That is a very dangerous place for society to be in. 5/
The fact is the Right wing economic doctrine fails society, it disintegrates democracy and dismantles justice. This government doesn't care. Right now, to support them is supporting societal degeneration. Some will die of that. This is the 21st century, not the 19th... #FBPE ✌🏼
