Breaking: U.S. military drone shot down by an Iranian surface-to-air missile in international airspace. This is a significant escalation #narativlive @traciemac_bmore.
From the NYTIMES:
A state-run news outlet in Iran said that the drone had flown over Iranian territory unauthorized. The U.S. military disputed the accusation that it had violated Iranian airspace, but not the loss of a drone.
TWO WEEKS AGO, another US drone was shot down over Yemen by Houthis. US Central Command assesses that strike was "enabled by Iranian assistance". centcom.mil/media/statemen…

2. The boat is a nuclear-powered sub Losharik (AS-12). The 2000-ton vessel can carry 25 crew members and can be carried under the belly of a much larger Delta III nuclear sub.
3. Likely photo of the vessel at base pre -2010. This is a SPY SUB HR Sutton: "No other submarine is the subject of so much speculation and interest...She is deep-diving special missions /engineering boat (read 'spy sub') " @narativlive @traciemac_bmore

#Breaking - Some defense sources report #Indian air strikes across the Line of Control in Muzafarabad, #Pakistan. Indian air force briefing expected later today. Pakistan said Indian jets dropped their payloads & "fled". More confirmation of details needed.
There are also reports of dual, air and ground Indian strikes in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir. No official word yet. Waiting for updates. Stay tuned.
There are also reports that 2 Pakistani JF-17s fighter jets have been shot down.
