State Department protocol chief assigned to the White House to handle meetings with foreign leaders would make a very good position for a spy. No matter who he was working for... Or is it his staff making allegations against a boss blocking them? Lets see if there are any clues!

Maybe his job was to clear out the bad employees & Deep Staters in the White House office of protocol so they would quit undermining the President. Seems similar to other clean outs at State, NSC, CIA, DOD, DHS & other groups in DC. Trigger the traitors to resign in protest?

Attending meetings with foreign heads of state with the President, VP & Secretary of State. Sounds like the perfect place for a spy, even one who could see if the President, VP & Sect. of State stayed on message...

US Navy, National Security Council, sounds like a weird career field for a protocol chief. Wonder what he did in the Navy?

Anyone else thinking that an old Navy Chief might say a few choice words & display a whip as a joke or style. Only to have the deep state folks try to use it with a little spin to push him out. #ButNothingsHappening
