A fucking long thread about Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

We have a decent squad but need a big investment for the 2019/20 season to move forward and have a realistic squad that can win the title.

*Disclaimer* - wages are based off players current deals and media reports
Reports are suggesting that Daniel Levy will give Pochettino a net spend of 65 million. That is a healthy budget and after selling deadwood we could get a nice turnover. I would look to sell the following players (next section) next to that I will put the wages saved and the fee.
Kieran Trippier - 75k/week - 25m
Janssen - 34k/week - 10m
Wanyama - 65k/week - 15m
Vorm - 62k/week - Free
Nkoudou - 35k/week - 5m
Llorente - 75k/week - Free
Eriksen - 75k/week - 50m + Ceballos
Onomah - 30k/week - 10m

451k/week saved - 118m income
This leaves us with a strong selection of players and a lot of funds to work with. Now is the fun part and the players I'd target.
RB - Max Aarons

Max Aarons is a great attacking fullback. I would love him to take the spot as first choice right back with him able to grow under Pochettino similarly to Kyle Walker. He can be moulded into a world class RB under Pochettino.

35k/week - 25m
CM - Tanguy Ndombele

Ever since the god that is Mousa Dembele left there has been a void in our midfield. Sissoko has been exceptional this season but he cannot play 60+ games a season. Tanguy is a great ball progressor and can help carry our midfield.

150k/week - 65m
CM - Dani Ceballos

As part of the Eriksen deal to Madrid I would like Dani Ceballos to come to N17. He has been disrespected at the Bernabeu and this is the exact kind of player Poch takes from decent to world class. He could be something very special at Spurs.

80k/week - P/Ex
AM - Giovani Lo Celso

Pochettino clearly wants this player. He able to play CM, AM and ST. This is key for rotation in a squad that wants trophies. Similar to Ceballos, Poch can mould this guy into something above the level he is currently operating at.

80k/week - 55m
W - Steven Bergwijn

In a long campaign numbers are crucial. We need more numbers in attack to get us through times where we will have 3 games in 7 days. Bergwijn is a young player who can play LW or RW and has UCL experience. Perfect for us.

60k/week - 30m
W - Jack Clarke

This guy is an exciting young winger with great on the ball ability. Similar to Dele he will go back to Leeds for a year to extend his development before he comes back to us. Excited about this kid and what Poch could do with him.

no wages - 10m
This would see us spend 185m (a net of 67m) and see us spend 405k/week on wages (saving 46k/week give or take) This will work within Levy's 65m net spend from our UCL run last season.
Furthermore I would loan out Kyle Walker to Crystal Palace in a 2 year loan deal with them losing Aaron Wan-Bissaka with him being a long term replacement to Serge Aurier in the future.
THE SQUAD
GOALKEEPERS

- Hugo Lloris (Vice Captain)
- Paulo Gazzaniga
- Alfie Whiteman
CENTRE BACKS

- Toby Alderweireld
- Jan Vertonghen (Vice Captain)
- Davinson Sanchez
- Juan Foyth
FULLBACKS

- Max Aarons
- Serge Aurier
- Danny Rose
- Ben Davies
MIDFIELDERS (1)

- Eric Dier
- Oliver Skipp
- Tanguy Ndombele
- Moussa Sissoko
MIDFIELDERS (2)

- Harry Winks
- Dani Ceballos
- Giovani Lo Celso
- Dele
WINGERS

- Lucas Moura
- Erik Lamela
- Steven Bergwijn
FORWARDS

- Harry Kane (captain)
- Heung-Min Son
That is a squad that is balanced and that has players who can grow under Mauricio Pochettino. We have been heavily linked / linked with all of these players and could see a successful team grow from this.
POTENTIAL FORMATIONS (1)
POTENTIAL FORMATIONS (2)
With this squad you have

- A blend of youth and experience
- A fresh set of faces
- Competition for places
- A chance for players to prove themselves like Son/Dele to step up to the next level
- Tactical diversity
For me this team will finish

Premier League - top 2 (maybe title)
Champions League - Semi-Final or further
FA Cup - Champions
Carabao Cup - Champions

End of thread.
Errors (soz)

- No picture for Giovani Lo Celso
- Forgot the Peters in Walker-Peters
- Forgot to add an Alderweireld contract which will be 60-70k more a week than his current 80k a week deal
