What do global CO₂ emissions look like by production sector?

Emissions are dominated by electricity, industry, & road transport, but the challenges are very different for different countries.

1/
The challenge for emerging & developing countries (eg China & India) is in electricity & industry. Transport is growing, but still a small source of emissions.

2/
Developed countries (eg, US & UK) have different challenges. Most developed countries are having a rapid transition away from emissions in industry & electricity, but emissions from road transport are particularly big.

3/
I am working on figures with sectors, so you are likely to see more in the coming weeks. I am still trying to iron our a few things, & find different ways to present. Be patient...
