It's telling that there's a sitting member of Congress who may have had a fraudulent marriage, to someone who might be her brother, and the only answer our Bureaucratic Officialdom has given as to whether any of it is true or false is a shrug

Why is it so hard to find out?

I don't know whose job it is to settle, once and for all, the (apparently insurmountably difficult) question of whether that lady had a fake marriage to her brother. The media? Our legal...how you say...enforcement and justice system?

I just know they don't seem to give a crap.

Why don't these institutions give a crap? One can speculate. But none of the possible answers are good ones.

She's a D so they don't want to harm a D. She's an ethnic minority and they don't want to be accused of piling on an ethnic minority. Sheer laziness? Incompetence?

Meanwhile, some bit player on Trump's campaign team misstated the Date When He Had A Conversation and our justice system was ON IT.

This happens again and again. I have seen it over and over. Zealous lawfare pursued against Tribe R to the ends of the earth based on anything or nothing at all, but running cover for Tribe D to the point where it's completely unclear to me whether laws actually apply to Tribe D.

Much ink and bits have been spilled on our perceived decline, the failure of our institutions, and the like. How about the complete lack of integrity they all have, the sheer brazenness of their double standards?

A news media that never shows curiosity about wrongdoing by Tribe D, that can't even seem to conceive of the possibility, is news in name only.

A justice system that prosecutes one way and covers-up the other way, is a fucking mafia with law degrees.

'What went wrong? Why did Trump win? Where did we go wrong?' ask the Elites, the Smart People.

But you don't really want to know. Because the answer lies exactly in those double standards, that moral breakdown. Double standards you enjoy and have no intention of changing.

This has been going on for a long time, but one can't go wrong in pointing to Comey's shameful coverup of Hillary Clinton, declaring she shouldn't be prosecuted but that the rest of us could be prosecuted for the same thing. In the same damn speech.

So here we are, yet again. All our Elites with their databases and law degrees and journalism degrees somehow just can't really figure out one way or another whether this Congresswoman committed immigration fraud and married her brother? So, like, just don't ask?
