@paulkrugman @JoeBiden Something really important to keep in mind re. the #ACA2.0 / #M4All battle: The #ACA *itself* allows for individual states to go Single Payer if they want to, via the 1332 Waiver provision. Vermont and Colorado both attempted to do this. Both ended up failing...
@paulkrugman @JoeBiden ...but let's suppose both had been successful, and the other 48 states had followed suit. Now you'd have 50 states with Single Payer healthcare systems. Would that be considered "eliminating Obamacare"? Depends on your POV.

(sigh) I’m not happy about this but I can’t argue with the judge’s reasoning too much. #ShortAssPlans *should* have been specifically restricted within the #ACA itself, but…they weren’t. That happened via an Obama XO a few years later, which is how Trump was able to reverse it.
Then bigger problem is that they’re being expanded in an environment in which there’s no longer any financial penalty for enrolling in them vs an ACA compliant plan.

Ok, I’ve been stuck at the Apple store for four hours waiting for my iCloud update to complete, so I’ve had time to read over Biden’s healthcare proposal. Sure enough, it’s basically @ewarren’s #ACA2.0 plus a robust public option, which is just fine.
I still can’t fathom why @ewarren has shifted gears to jump completely into the BernieCare pool when she already gave a perfect response back in March. Still hoping she’ll shift back to that stance.
Biden, Warren and the @HouseDemocrats all base their #ACA2.0 proposal subsidy formula on the @urbaninstitute’s “Healthy America”. The House version sticks with Silver for the benchmark, Warren & Biden upgrade to Gold.

Minor #HealthCare observation, been thinking about this for a few days, wasn't going to bother with the write-up, but I've seen multiple messages from friends and colleagues the past few days that have moved me in this direction, so…
Because I am now An Old, I recently jacked up a shoulder and a hip, for which I was prescribed physical therapy at a GREAT PT center. Two separate incidents, but the treatment kind of overlapped.
As the hip got better fast and the shoulder got better slower, I got to a point where my hip "prescription" (chronologically, first) ran out, so we concentrated more on shoulder.

So like, I guess going into the first game: I remember liking this game as a whole, save for a few awkward plot moments that could have been smoothed over, but beyond that very little sticks out as an overt complaint I remember having #QueenieAttorney
So generally I'm interested to see how that perception will hold up, and if the relatively simpler plot (in comparison to more modern VNs) and the like will hold up on a repeat playthrough

This is probably the key chart. Name recognition certainly *does* matter. Overall, though, it's probably both the case that (i) Biden and Bernie aren't especially impressive frontrunners and (ii) None of the low-name-recognition candidates are off to an amazing start either.
Deleted an inaccurate follow-up tweet on this one. The polls I was looking at actually *were* for January thru June of the year before the election, e.g. the period we're in right now. So the data from that article is applicable to today.

The column--WHICH TRUMP DID NOT WRITE--included many lies.
Trump has done everything possible--with the help of @SpeakerRyan and @senatemajldr McConnell--to eviscerate #ACA and steal affordable #healthcare from millions of Americans, including sick children.
Trump ran on overturning #Obamacare--which millions of his supporters did not realize was #ACA that allowed them to get affordable #healthcare through their insurance provider and protected them and their kids who had #PreExistingConditions.
Trump tried to repeal #ACA but failed.
So he stopped making payments to statewide subsidy programs, cutting off #healthcare to millions.
He also cut #CHIP, created by #HillaryClinton, which provided millions of kids with health insurance.
