Viewed this house where the owners locked their adorable kitty in a carrier in the family room and the poor thing cried at me the whole time. I kind of spent the whole time talking to the cat in front of the agent - I think I’m out of the running for *that* particular house, now.
I don’t want to buy a house from a cat hater, though. If you won’t have a conversation with a crying pet, I don’t know about you.
It’s like when a 4-year-old asks you to dance. You dang well take off your heels and boogie.

True (funny?) story though - the car I had to borrow was such a stinky POS that the windows and AC didn’t work. The first DMV lady got so pissed that in retrospect she not so subtly tried to get me to bribe her. I was a dumb kid and couldn’t figure out why I failed.
How many kids in normal America get their own car to take their first drivers test in, though? That’s so crazy to me.

Having some chats with people whose CFP submissions didn’t make it. Here’s a really unfortunate gotcha :(

Their entire quite long outline was formatted by Office, and everything from tabs to icons was blown away on conversion to plaintext. Became very hard to read and follow.
We / I wouldn’t reject someone merely because of this, but the flow of the talk was lost.
Just something to look out for - just like your resume, make sure your important info converts to plaintext.

Again, 88% of these accounts were hacked: old, inactive, weakly protected.

Time for a full thread on Nathan Phillips. I do not know whether or not he was a Marine. Without a FOIA, this will not be possible. I do know that his claim that he is a Marine combat vet during Vietnam is false though.
Phillips made very specific claims, although tracking each individual source down is difficult. I will try to collect them here.
1: Did Phillips claim to be a Vietnam veteran?

It's the night before thanksgiving. It's cold and wet outside. #CampFire evacuees are still bracing the elements and looking for shelter. Here are some images I'd like to share some images from my time exploring the Chico Walmart parking lot, a temporary refuge for some.
Folks like Sarah, Martin and James, from Magalia, have made the most out of their circumstance. A parking spot was their living room. They set up a propane heater (which was stolen in the middle of the night later) and a television to watch the latest news on the #CampFire.
Brenda Wilson tried very hard to keep her dog Scooby warm. The dog was shivering. She slept in the car. She was cold herself. She was distraught and wanted to go home. When I spoke to her, she had no idea if her home survived the #CampFire.

I'm back on the #soapbox. And I'm going to be on it a long time talking up #CitizensUnited until it sinks into the brain of everyone here. If we want a HOPE of restoring the #integrity of our #elections it MUST be overturned. #DarkMoney is overriding our voices in the ballot box.
