The Trump/Russia scandal is worse than watergate. Watergate was one member of the Republican Party, Nixon, breaking into his rivals office & stealing documents to defeat his rival in the election

Then Nixon obstructed justice, committed felonies while in office, to cover that up.

Once the truth of what happened came out the Republican Party did the right thing for the country & told Nixon they were going to hold him accountable. He resigned.

That scandal is mild compared to what is slowly unfolding now.

This time one candidate from the Republican Party, Donald Trump, learned that the Russian Government broke into his rivals office & stole documents to help him defeat that candidate.

The American public was unaware this was happening. Only Russia & the Trump campaign knew. The candidate, Donald Trump, kept this secret & his campaign developed their campaign strategy around the Russian operation.

The Russian operation was sweeping & systematic.

They hacked into Trump’s rival’s office and stole documents. They hacked into US voter databases. They targeted all 50 states. They had a massive social manipulation operation designed to boost Trump’s candidacy & depress his opponents.

The Trump campaign gave Russia internal polling data & told them which states to target. When Russia released the documents they stole the Trump campaign used that crime in every way they could to benefit.

Then Donald Trump shockingly won the election.

He lost the popular vote by 3 million votes, but he won because 70,000 votes in a few battleground states, the states the Trump campaign told Russia to target, went his way. 70 thousand votes out of 120 million votes decided the winner.

But this scandal is still going on.

Donald Trump continues to lie to America & say he’s innocent. He denies all the devastating facts. The Republican Party knows the truth & yet, this time, they are actively covering up the president’s crimes, the Russian Government’s crimes, & are betraying the American people.

In Watergate the Republican Party finally did what was right, forced Nixon to resign, & so in the end our country was able to move on & heal. Right now the Republican Party, the Russian Government, & Donald Trump are covering up these crimes: betraying our country.

Donald Trump worked with Russia to steal the 2016 election & the Republican Party is helping him cover that up. This is an entire political party allowing Russia to attack our election & help Trump win. This is treasonous behavior

This scandal is worse than Watergate. Much worse
