John Minford, #SunTzu 8: 6 "On death terrain, do battle."

We'll turn to chapter 11 in a bit, to find out what Master Sun's definition of death terrain is, and what to do about it when you're there. But first we have some stories to walk through and before that, a question to you. We'll also discuss mass shootings today as well.

Have you ever been completely boxed in? Your back's to the wall, you have no left or right flank to access. The enemy's in front of you and you either fight or commit suicide by passivity. The enemy, in greater numbers than you have, is coming for you. This is that moment.

I've been caught having done the wrong thing. Have you? I often surrender instantly, due to my extreme self-judgement. But there have also been times when it hit, I didn't do the wrong thing all by myself, and I've had the wit to attack, attack, attack, consequences be damned.

I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and had an early love affair with the Museum of Science and Industry. What a museum. Surely, I went at least once a year or more since I was 6 years old. Around age 13, I was there one day, and sat down in a booth for a hearing test.

For an Italian, I'm a rather white white boy. Just as I sat down, a group of about 8 very black black boys came by and insisted that I leave as they wanted to use the booth. Most of the boys were pretty big, but the leader was not, skinny and very knock kneed, he didn't scare me.

I absolutely knew that all 8 of them could kick my butt all over the place, but a type of calm settled in on me. Funny thing, I had recently been given a very expensive Cross Pen, which was in my shirt pocket. My thought was, I don't want them to steal it. I know, silly.

Not even thinking about any tactics at all, I just reached up, and took my pen out of my pocket. I wish you could see the look on my knock kneed enemy's face. Nervously, he laughed and said, don't stab me. Hearing that, I realized my pen was a weapon. He was smarter than me.

Under his unwitting guidance, I brandished my pen just a little and said, I'd never stab you, don't worry. And then all the tension was gone, he cracked up, turned to his followers and said, this guy's cool. We'll let him have the booth. They all smiled too, the battle over.

I responded, nah, you guys can have it and stood right up. What happened then is a gift I'll always remember. For the next half hour or so, I was part their gang. We walked around, joked, went and bought some snacks and became friends for life, never to see each other again.

That was my first brush with death ground. I've had many since. I mentioned being caught, guilty, above. I have an autistic son. I lived in denial for the first 4 years of his life. Then, a phenomenal doctor showed me, from her knowledge of his world, how wrong I was.

It was a grueling six hours she spent having cleared her schedule for us. When done proving my denial was 100% wrong, I wept like a baby. I realized that I'd withheld myself in denial for 4 years. I can assure you, that's not a light load to carry. She had me dead to rights.

That was 26 years ago, and yes, I remember it as if it were yesterday. When you're on death ground, you never forget it. So, let's turn now to chapter 11 to get a better understanding, both of what death ground is and what to do about it when you're there.

No other passage in all of Master Sun's counsel so well describes our Revolutionary Founding Fathers. Give me liberty or give me death. If we don't hang together, we will certainly all hang separately. Look at John Hancock's signature on the Declaration of Independence.

Who remembers Hernan Cortes and how he burned his boats upon arrival in Mexico, turning all of Mexico into death ground for his 800 men. They'd have to build new boats to get back, after winning.

Now let's turn to mass shootings and the theories about false flag operations. Let me state, emphatically, I do not know. I too suffer from cynical suspicions. How quickly was the manifesto published, yesterday? How quickly did O'Rourke tie the shooting to Trump?

Then we get a second mass shooting in Dayton Ohio in less than 24 hours. This is more than the 20th such mass shooting in 2019 alone. Why? The most cynical theory is that the left finds itself on death ground. None of their candidates have what it takes to win.

Mueller humiliated himself and then irreparably. The Russia Hoax has become worse than a joke, it indicates the prospect of coming indictments, although me may need to wait to believe that when it happens. At any rate, they're humiliated beyond repair. Hear that. They're humbled.

Humbled, they lack humility, which is to say they're raging. Impeachment is impossible for them, would damage them even more and they know it. @realDonaldTrump has boxed them into the corner of AOC + 3, such that even Bernie Sanders is too conservative, let alone Obama.

@realDonaldTrump The only arguments they have left are climate change and racism. That is a losing position if ever I've seen one, and it looks like death ground to me. So, let's imagine they are coordinating these mass shootings as a Marxian type of attack on the stability of the nation.

@realDonaldTrump First, remember, they're the ones on death ground, not us. We're the ones with the guns and ammunition and training. We have righteous patriotism and the readiness to protect ourselves, our families and communities. They know they cannot win a shooting war. They know.

@realDonaldTrump Second, here's what they've missed if this scenario is accurate. They will do NOTHING but harden our resolve. And, we can solve this at voting booth. We can win. We can overcome their corruption of the vote. We can overcome their distortion of the truth. We can come out in force.

@realDonaldTrump Let's talk about voter fraud. It can tip a narrow election, no question. It may even be able, in places like California, to make it impossible for us to win, although I never surrender the fight before the last moment when defeat announces itself unchangeably.

@realDonaldTrump We need to take the fight to them in every district with all we've got, regardless of certainty of defeat. Defeat is only certain when you surrender to it. We've clearly got them both on the run and scared out of their minds. We have the advantage. They're on death ground.

@realDonaldTrump Here's how the theory might work. They find some unhinged soul, and train him how to drive 600 miles and spend 20 minutes killing people methodically till he's out of ammunition. They let him know, the cops will do everything they can to NOT shoot back.

@realDonaldTrump The cops are there for 14 minutes - 6 minutes after he starts shooting - and never shoot a single bullet and call that a victory. And in the press conference, the term "America's front door" is employed. Instantly, a manifesto is published, opining against Hispanic immigration.

@realDonaldTrump Something reeks about all this. And then, next we hear O'Rourke tying all this to Trump, a candidate who was on his own death ground. Is the left NOT capable of such coordination? To be 100% certain, it is capable. Is this what happened? I don't know. It's a theory.

@realDonaldTrump However, there's a number we might discover. How many innocents where shot and killed or wounded AFTER the cops arrived? And yet, the shooter lays down his weapons and surrenders? Not one bullet shot by a cop. And instantly, we have a manifesto. It reeks to high heaven.

@realDonaldTrump You can see I'm not buying the party line, here. I'm not. And, I believe it demonstrates how desperate the left is, on the death ground we've placed them. They have more Republican congressmen quitting again, already. So, #MAGA supporters, what are we going to do?

@realDonaldTrump I say, we damn well better organize ourselves to come out in such droves of voting that even voter fraud itself cannot waylay our election. And, we MUST win back the House. Let these clowns resign. Let's replace them with #MAGA supporting Republicans and take back the House.

@realDonaldTrump Theories be right or wrong, I honestly do say the left is on death ground. We must be ready for them to fight. But if we step back, absorb their attacks calmly, and organize to vote in droves, we can win this thing. We'll talk more about that soon.
