Today's Transmission:
The ESA and the Conspiracy you were never meant to know:
#esaleak #ESRB #IARC #evo2019
So, if you haven't been sleeping under a rock, or any sort of hard object,
The ESA "leaked" or "was hacked" and names of nearly 2000 people were available all over the internet.
It is one of the biggest doxing incidents in recent memory. The fact that it’s a majority of the gaming youtubers and e-celebs should make you fans of this industry deeply concerned. What makes this worse, is that the Gaming Media will not talk about these issues.
But the biggest reality you need to accept is that the ESA is sadly via the ESRB and is connections with PEGI and the like, to bring lootcrates into the business at the same time screwing over Japanese developers...
...while at the same time turning a blind eye to the Tax evasion the leaders of the ESA are doing now.
First off, did you know that the ESRB, PEGI, South Korea's GRAC and Australia's and New Zealand 's Boards all are members of the International Age Rating Collection (IARC), which started in 2013.
Basically this transnational group dictate what games are ranked. They follow their own rules for their own boards, but in the end of the day - they mostly follow what the ESA (the lead board) states. You also must realize that other governments over see there own boards…
So why certain games make it through international waters, while others don’t is because a majority of these boards are run by the governments of where these boards come from.
Notice something interesting however? The third largest video game market in the world and its own CERO isn't apart of this group - but GRAC which is run by South Korea's Blue House is? I let you make you own conclusions about this.
But the elephant in the room to coin a phrase is the Gambling aspect of these rating systems. In Pegi - 12, 16 and 18 its is allowed (because their culture handles gambling in a different light)...
In the ESRB its AO, and with the lootcrate concept - it would have made a lot of games that didn’t have hard sexual content AO.
This is where the IARC comes in. Because ESA and Pegi are now working together, they now used the IARC concept of "simplifying" for the digital age to change the concept of "gambling" towards the youth.
So now ESRB uses Pegi's standard under IARC as part of its "simplification" of what games are allowed.
But you see, the ESA is run by the American 3rd party developers. And Pegi is also ran by the European divisions of the same American 3rd Party developers. And they all use the same lobbies.
So they can easily convince UK government to say - "Lootcrates" are not Gambling, because the rules state under Pegi…
That a 12 year old can gamble, and to streamline the process all over - ALL those kids under the aegis of the IARC can use lootcrates and lootboxes. Do you see how dangerous such techniques are? That’s is the great scandal nobody wishes to discuss.
This is also link to something a lot of tech companies from apple and others are doing to keep Billions of dollars in their war chests - Tax Avoidance. A recent article from bit.ly/2T4P0lW Read the text and do the research for yourself.
The conclusion is what I and many others have computed, that the western video game industry is heading to a renters model using lootcrates as away to continue to fund tax avoidance, and in turn using E-Sports as another form of renters gains as well as tax avoidance.
It is also a way to keep certain talent (both in western indy/small studio, and small, mid-range and some larger Japanese gaming development firms) to gain any sort of foot hold in the industry via talent, better business practices and aesthic alone.
The aftermath of what Happened after Nier Automata on the way Gaming News Sites Handled Japanese Gaming should have been a clarion call.
As far as the IARC member's and their many arms connected to these groups are concerned, the Japanese gaming enterprises are persona non grata and as you seen via a lot of the standards that the platform developers have used, proves this point all too clearly.
The Gaming News and Entertainment sites will never say anything about IARC because it doesn’t help them to expose that group as a front to make money hand over fist, promote a globalized censorship and create a pretext for tax avoidance and acceptation of lootcrates and lootboxes
It is time to see why such mass tendrils of insecurity has made gameindustri a lot less honest, transparent and of course…

Pretty...
