Tyranny of Europe came from its institutions. From the Church. From the institutionalization of heresy. Of witch hunts and the Inquisition. The Inquisition was an *institution* of the Church. Gas chambers were institutionalized genocide.

You parrot phrases you don't understand.
When Indian "intellectuals" parrot phrases like "sanctity of institutions" or "constitutional morality" they don't know what they say.

They want to replicate the Christianization of Europe. The Holy Book becomes the Constitution. Faith in Church becomes "faith in institutions."
The Church institutionalized & centralized morality. The Book was God's commandment, the only source of morality. Human beings were sinners. Only the Book, interpreted by the institution of the Church, saved from tyranny.

So when "liberals" ask for faith in institutions to save from tyranny, they cluelessly transpose Christian theology. Individuals are sinners, only the institutions (aka Church), armed with the Law/Constitution (Holy Book), will save from tyranny.

They seek to replace a dharma-based society with a "rule of law" commandment-based system.

But that attempt constantly fails. You can't just graft a system from one culture onto another. The theories of European social "science" are not universal.

As Balagangadhara has shown, European Social Sciences are not sciences at all, but merely repackaged theology. They may have some relevance to European society. To India, they have none. (Using Communism, Fascism, Secularism etc, produce nonsense).
