Thread: I've been holding back on @AndrewYang a little bit, but now I think it's time to push back much harder on him. Honestly, I think some people underestimate how dangerous a Yang presidency would be. 1K monthly is not enough to live. The cost of living continues to rise.
@AndrewYang This is especially true, if his UBI plan is implemented without a rent cap (which @BernieSanders supports. Landlords will hike the rent as soon as it passes. I'm someone who cannot afford to give up disability/food stamps for 1k a month. It would crush me, first of all.
@AndrewYang @BernieSanders Also, 1K a month puts us at the mercy of the wealthy. if it's taken us 30 years to raise the minimum wage how long will it take to raise that 1k a month? The cost of living cannot be stressed enough. If it cuts into disability and food stamps people like me are done for.
@AndrewYang @BernieSanders Yang said himself that he intends for this to gut other social programs. The poor are going to be worse off. He has one leg to stand on and it's UBI. He is one of the worst candidates running, and I don't care if some Progressives disagree.
@AndrewYang @BernieSanders I get so much anxiety whenever he talks about that fucking UBI. In the beginning, I was interested in his plan. The interview with Dave Rubin sealed the deal for me that we had to get him off the stage. Not to mention his climate plan. Bernie's is 100x better. This is undeniable!
@AndrewYang @BernieSanders I'm not kidding when I say the guy gives me anxiety. I wouldn't be able to survive under a Yang presidency. Also, if you don't think he won't sell us out to the wealthy and make closed-door deals behind our backs... I think you're just plain wrong. We have to crush him.
@AndrewYang @BernieSanders Crush him, before he puts his foot on all of us with this bullshit UBI. We need 15$ an hour. We need a living wage, and we need to expand these social programs not cut them. I need more money in my disability check on top of my food stamps, not less for a 1K a month check.
@AndrewYang @BernieSanders They want to play? Let's play. I'm not going to be nice about this anymore when my actual well-being is on the line. This UBI plan is dangerous, and we have to push back against it as hard as we do Warrren's flip-floppy bullshit. Yang. Is. Dangerous.
@AndrewYang @BernieSanders I would support a UBI that was implemented properly, and was actually Progressive. I'm not against it altogether. This guy has no understanding of how this will actually affect low-income and poor people. I'm #BernieOrBust no matter what, but I would NEVER vote for Yang.
@AndrewYang @BernieSanders There are some Progressives who still like him, they say he isn't the worst. You're wrong. The worst of him is yet to come. I promise you the debates will expose that.
@AndrewYang @BernieSanders I'm tired of the lies of the #YangGang. I'm tired of being told Bernie isn't enough. He's more than enough, and he's better and more trustworthy than Yang. He's just as bad as the rest. I refuse to play nice. Our job is to put Bernie in the White House. #PresidentBernieSanders
