Dear friends, I’m back.

1. Two months after I got released from prison, I’m arrested again. Even though it’s a heavy cross to bear, I expected that I would be arrested and prosecuted in this movement again.
2. Compared with the hardships of our companions, some of them may got beaten up by the police, may got sexually assaulted, may got shot in eye, everything I’m facing is really insignificant.

Hongkonger, together we stand! We shall never surrender!
3. I was arrested and prosecuted this morning in route to my community work outside South Horizons MTR Station. I am accused of inciting, organizing and participating unauthorized assembly on 21 June, protest outside Police HQ in Wanchai.
4. @chowtingagnes is arrested at home this morning. She is accused of inciting and participating in unauthorized assembly. Both of us were detained in Police HQ and we are not certain when they are released.
5. We are furious about large-scale arrest on the day before 31 August. It is completely ridiculous that the police target specific prominent figures of social movement in the past and framing them as the leaders of the anti-extradition bill protests.
6. The 12-week long protests is prestiged as leaderless yet We once again reiterate that Demosisto has never taken up any leading role during the movement. White terror is a lame and old-fashioned tactic deployed by the police to please BJ.

1. One day after G7 leaders backed HK's autonomy, CE Carrie Lam is now planning to impose a "#MartialLaw" to #HongKong. HK's commerce minister even claimed that such martial law will have no effect on this Asia Financial Hub & should be accepted by the international community.
2. This Emergency Regulations Ordinance (ERO) HKGov planning to use, would allow HKGov to do whatever it wants. It is a de facto Martial Law, with no PLA marching on the streets, but would bring an equivalent threat of violence to the city.
3. According to ERO, Lam can "make any regulations whatsoever which (s)he may consider desirable in the public interest" without check and balance from the legislature, include declaring curfew. #HumanRights and freedom of expression are under threat.

CE Carrie Lam is considering to execute "Emergency Regulations Ordinance", which is martial law without PLA. According to elegislation.gov.hk/hk/cap241!en-z…, here is the power authorize to Cheif Executive of HK:
1. censorship, and the control and suppression of publications, writings, maps, plans, photographs, communications and means of communication;
2. arrest, detention, exclusion and deportation;
3. control of the harbours, ports and waters of HK, and the movements of vessels;
4. transportation by land, air or water, and the control of the transport of persons and things;
5. trading, exportation, importation, production and manufacture;
6. appropriation, control, forfeiture and disposition of property, and of the use thereof;

[Regarding PLA's Deployment]

1. It is extremely worrying & troubling to see large-scale PLA military/PAP (People’s Armed Police Force) buildup at the Shenzhen border. In fact, a garrison of at least 6,000 soldiers have stationed in HK since 1997, which can be easily mobilized.
2. The imagery of troops comes amid growing tensions of HK protests and many recalled the violent crackdown in Tiananmen 30 years ago. I wish to state clearly that, any signs of military crackdown on would represent the end of the One Country, Two Systems.
3. Military intervention wouldn't only cause chilling effect to civil liberties of HKers, but also devastating impact on global financial market. Beijing will suffer huge consequences & damage to HK econ if China sends troops, sadly, no guarantee PresidentXi will act rationally.

Donald's 1st appearance, as a scene-stealing supporting actor in this Silly Symphony cartoon. He is paired w/Peter Pig, who will never have a role this good again. DD becomes an instant star, while Peter is demoted to background player
I think they know they have something here; they save Donald's intro for last, and give him a great entrance.

Also, WLH's singing voice is perfect, and Peter Pig's speaking voice is a true nightmare. You can feel his cartoon career ending the moment he opens his mouth.
