While I firmly support government in its fight for Kashmir, Here is what the Government should have done by now. Sadly none of this hasn't been done yet.

Remember Iranian embassies throughout the world during Iran Iraq war? They used to be full of pictures, literature, banners, highlighting the atrocities of Iraq.

#Pakistan embassies have not done this yet.
Our ambassadors are busy sharing press releases only.
Pakistani embassies in at least 10 important capitals could arrange urgent #Kashmir conference by assuring massive participation of the Pakistani diaspora.

Washington, London, Berlin, Paris, Ottawa, Brussels, Rome, Oslo, Istanbul, Riyadh.

This is offensive diplomacy!
I cannot understand why Pakistani airspace hasn't been shut for #India yet. Its India that has to suffer by that not Pakistan. Almost all the air activity of ours is towards the West of Pakistan and not towards the East.
Be on the offensive. Show the world how serious you are!
Our Foreign Office failed to convene an extraordinary summit of OIC on #Kashmir.
We couldn't cash our relations with #Turkey in this important hour.
Our response was not even equal to our own response to US decision to shift embassy to Jerusalem.

He leaked Nikita Khrushchev's speech in the closed session of the Communist Party's 20th Congress, gave the document to #Mossad, which then passed the contents to the #CIA.
The speech had exposed Stalin's real face as a mass-murderer.
Grauevsky was the #Mossad man in #KGB.

This is how the Arab World has responded to India’s annexation of #Kashmir.
First, UAE’s ambassador to New Delhi called the decision an internal matter, adding that it would "improve social justice and security and confidence of the people in the local governance and ... encourage further stability and peace".
Then the UAE’s foreign ministry released a statement in which it changed track and called on India and Pakistan to “overcome this crisis through communication and constructive dialogue, away from escalation and confrontation."

The repeal of Art 35A on August 5 has scrapped special land rights granted to the residents of Jammu & #Kashmir. Here’s a thread on some other legal provisions to protect ‘original’ citizens’ rights over land in the rest of India and how these provisions are under attack. 1/17
Article 35A, a by-product of Article 370 that gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir, stated that permanent residents of the state would be conferred with special rights over the acquisition of immovable property in the state. 2/17
On August 5, 2019, Article 35A of the Constitution was abrogated on the grounds of it being “discriminatory against non-permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir” and to “enable economic development” in the area. Now, non-residents have access to land and property in J&K. 3/17

I fear the travails and tribulations of the people of #JammuAndKashmir will continue for a very long time before they get better. The changes wrought on 5 August 2019 by #ModiSarkar2 are driven by ideology and politics
They are not driven by pragmatic considerations of what is good for the people of that troubled region of India. #ModiSarkar2 argues that with the special status gone development beckons and a new dawn starts. What they don't explain is what about the previous regime prevented it
Much will depend on how the changes are implemented but the very manner in which they were pushed through Parliament, the various sleights of hand and specious legal tricks, and the deployment of troops to #lockdown Kashmir - all these bode ill for the future
