They say a traffic culture is indicative of a country’s law, order & governance situation.
We all are acutely aware that our roads are a jungle that we manoeuvre through every day, risking life & limb.
As in other spheres, it’s the aggressive that brazen it out.

We all want change in the quality of our lives.
We all want our cities to be like Singapore, KL, even Bangkok … & when we go there, we follow every rule in the book but return to contribute to the mess at home.

Yes we want world class roads & pavements.
Strict fines for encroachment & haphazard parking - as long as it’s not us.
Traffic lights that work, uniform & clear signage, trained traffic police & most important - a city’s administration that is held accountable.

But what about our bit ?

No where in any half decent country can a motorist or a two wheeler driver get away with not carrying a driving license, vehicle registration & insurance papers…

To say -

~It’s no big deal that I forgot to carry my drivers license in a country where billion dollar fraudsters are free~

Is no excuse & in our own way we are then a major part of the problem.

To be allowed to do what we want to do,
we allow others to get away with what they want to do… each depending on their sphere of opportunity…a never ending circle of chaos from which there is no way out…

Break the Circle.

Be the Change.
