[Random Fake News Thread] Just got a sponsored add on @facebook from a page called "Evolution of FPS Games". The sponsored post was called 'Emir might lose his Ttitle'. The few comments are ppl expressing their support for Sheikh Tamim of Qatar, one even called him "Iron Master" 
2/ Curious, I clicked on the link to see where it went. My browser flagged that the site was trying to load 'unsafe scripts'. More bizarrely, the URL remained consistent with "evolutionofFPSGames" but the article was about how the Emir of Qatar had phoned into a Dubai
3/ talk show to talk about his lucrative bitcoin investments 😅. The article purports to be copy from "Gulf News". My favourite was the opening line, "' Qatar native and current Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has made a name for himself as a brash straight-talker ....
4/who doesn’t mind being honest about how he makes his money". Qatar native! zomg dead. It gets better though....
5/ After Tamim dropped this bomb, apparently, "And sure enough, minutes after the interview was over, Qatar Authorities called to stop Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani's interview from being aired - it was already too late." I love the idea that the head of state calls into a talk
6/ show only to have 'Qatar Authorities' to intervene and try to stop them airing it. Also, you guys better quick, so you can get in on the ground floor of Tamim's new lucrative scheme - before the banks 'shut it down'...
7/ Of course Tamim in his pitch to a Dubai-based talk show demonstrated his due diligence - he told his advisors that he had some of 'advisors' check out this new crypto moneymaker. But he was reassured when they too were making serious coin...😅😅
