1/The GOP is setting the stage to help Trump steal or derail the 2020 elections.
So there are really only two questions left:
1/How far will Trump go in order to stay in office and avoid indictment; and
2/How far will the GOP go to help him?

2/It is only common sense that when you tell a man who meets secretly w/dictators and owes his fortune to money laundering oligarchs, that the only way he can avoid prison is by staying in office, he will do anything to stay there. Absolutely anything.
3/Trump has ALREADY ABUSED his EMERGENCY POWERS TWICE to CIRCUMVENT CONGRESS:1/to fund his border wall (a scam blessed by his SCOTUS) and 2/to sell arms to the Saudis. So let’s take a moment to think about how TRUMP could use his emergency powers to sabotage the 2020 elections.
4/Putin has cyber bombs planted in our grid and, like the GOP, he benefits from keeping Trump in power. Putin could shut down SMALL portions of our grid w/out any fear of retaliation from his puppet in the WH, giving Trump the ‘excuse’ he needs to unleash his emergency powers.
5/Or, in order to maintain the GOP power status quo, Trump could launch a limited nuclear first strike against Iran or NoK w/out Congressional approval and in the ensuing chaos declare a national emergency, impose martial law, shut down the internet and suspend the elections.
6/And, since this criminal is propped up by a GOP Congress that will do anything to stay in power from blocking bills to safeguard the ballot to outright voter theft and by a complicit AG-if Trump uses his powers to shutdown the internet/suspend elections who’s going to stop him?
7/In 2019, McConnell BLOCKED a bill that would require a president to seek congressional approval before launching a nuclear first strike so, thanks to the GOP, an obviously unstable, criminal president still has the power to start a nuclear war w/out consulting anyone at all.
8/The WH has already labeled Iran a ‘terrorist’ nation and with the AUMF still in force they can by-pass Congress and start a war right before the election. It’ll be a great distraction from the looming recession and wartime presidents are typically re-elected. Two birds/one nuke
9/We are staring into the abyss.The next few months will determine whether we live in a Constitutional Republic ruled by law or in an autocracy ruled by fascists.Our Dem reps must have the guts to call this EXACTLY what it is-GOP FASCISM. Anything less will be too little too late

13/Today’s fascists know that outright censorship is unnecessary, that their flood of fake news so pollutes the media that facts/truth become virtually irrelevant.Scapegoats,wealth inequality, race, and religion are weaponized to rally/divide an increasingly desperate electorate
14/Crony capitalism and privatization create a symbiosis of corruption and self-dealing that blurs the lines between gov and business. Corporations are deemed ‘people’ by the nation’s highest court and Congress is owned by dark money donors and lobbyists who now ‘write’ our laws.
14/Huge tax cuts for the rich, deregulation/tax subsidies for big business, Fed monetary policy that props up Wall Street and creates billionaires, while the Fascists scream ‘socialism’ and use their exploding deficit as an excuse to gut Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.
15/Elected officials who use their power like this are not ‘conservatives’ or ‘esteemed colleagues’ they are fascists.
Our dem reps must have the guts to recognize the threat.

16/Just more evidence that the GOP is a party of fascists who will lie, cheat, and steal to ‘win’.
17/The @HouseJudiciary must stand proudly for the Constitution and the rule of law and draft articles of impeachment based on the copious evidence already in the public domain-use their pulpits (not hearings) to educate the electorate and bring it to the full house for a vote.
