To this day, the Pod Save America ilk will go to the mat insisting that Obama would've been an effective leader if not for the intransigent Republican congress. That's a deeply specious and tiresome understanding of how executive power works. So...

@theprospect @steelewheelz @Marcia_Brown9 Oh yeah, we've got a new website too, which is exciting and compelling in its own right. But let me underscore the urgency and salience of this work once more: we can ask more of our leadership. We're not doomed to fatalistic futility.

No surprise, Sanders and Warren come out far ahead. But there are some positive surprises in there on student debt (O'Rourke) and drug pricing (Harris).

@theprospect @steelewheelz @Marcia_Brown9 So: death to the Pelosi Doctrine, where any and all Democratic governance is foreclosed preemptively due to presumed Republican votecounting. Enough of the wishfully tied hands of the Obama era. We're not doing that again.
