Alabama's oiliest 'news' outlet - "Over the coming months, Yellowhammer will encourage these 15 honorees to recommit themselves to the transcendental efforts that landed them a place on this prestigious list." donotlink.it/Bw0rX #ALpolitics
Even if these fifteen folks were partly motivated by the transcendental as opposed to money, why they'd be encouraged by the Yellowstain crowd seems a stretch. While funding remains murky, what does seem present are operatives, lobbyists, sycophants, etc.
Dots were connected by Eddie Curran on how Yellowstain was used to take out Terry Dunn. CJR reporting revealed an active effort to hide lobbyist involvement. bit.ly/32YMGSp This outfit urging anyone to 'recommit to transcendental efforts' seems bold.
Continue to chortle over this outfit tossing in 'transcendental' in their stroking of some of these characters. Fêting powerful people in Alabama with fawning copy is hardly new for this 'news' outlet but this is top-shelf toadyism.
"Brighter days for Alabama are possible because of leaders like these." Hell, one big reason so many common citizens here in Alabama struggle is perhaps because the same sorts of people as these 'leaders' have almost always controlled things in this benighted state. #ALpolitics
I'd rather honor 15 regular Alabamians trying to keep their power bill paid and BC/BS premiums met. Just working folks who aren't raking in money hand-over-fist like so many the Yellowstainers are sucking up to. These commoners. however, don't have anything to grift after.
