Johnson has gambled his political rep. on getting a deal with Europe, which he can't because everything he tries involves twatting the Good Friday Agreement

So all he's got is May's deal. But again, he booted Theresa May out of the job because of that. And this session of parliament has voted it down three times.
And since becoming prime minister he has publicly thrown it in the gutter.

It would be political suicide for him to pick up May's deal. He can't touch it. It's toxic. The ERG would slaughter him, and the opposition would show everyone look, look, Johnson has got no plan. Nothing. He's a hole in the air.

You see. The only withdrawal agreement is the one he can't touch. Europe won't provide him with another, and in the absence of anything else, he will be forced to get an extension.

Of course it will be embarrassing and awkward for Johnson to ask for the extension. But he deserves it.
His behaviour has been appalling. Licking, screaming, stamping his feet. He should feel embarrassed. And learn not to boast himself up.

Stanley Johnson and Eton school owe this country a massive apology for bringing that child up so badly that the whole country has had to step in and do it for them.
