While we watch supposed Progressives lift up neoliberals as "acceptable" or "still progressive", we are left to wonder how many do not understand what a neoliberal even is. People like @EmmaVigeland have been steady calling people "sexist" for not supporting neoliberals. Why?

This is why we as a nation cannot make progress. It is called ignorance and gaslighting.

There is absolutely no excuse for either at this late hour.

For instance, a nation that creates it's own currency is not dependent nor should it try to sell "Green Energy" to "Finance" a Green New Deal

Only a neoliberal would attempt to make such a preposterous claim.

Nor would a progressive even consider means testing for eliminating student debt. Student debt is usury and a burden not only to the students and families but to the macroeconomy and it is unnecessary.

A nation that creates it's own sovereign currency doesn't need to do that.

A progressive should understand that money doesn't grow on rich people and the public money for the public purpose is the key to bringing about a fair and just society w/ an economy that matches.

Far too many are still seeking pay fors & chase candidates that advance austerity.

Ultimately these purveyors of neoliberal policy and economic positions are every bit as cancerous to our survival as any reichwinger you could put forth. They are still appeasing bad actors, unfettered capitalism and ultimately providing a basic income to their wealthy donors.

So We ask... one more time...

Why do Progressives still not know what neoliberalism is and why we must defeat it with the public purse of which you can learn all about how to advance progress by learning #MMT.
