According to DOJ, the administration today "instructed relevant personnel" to preserve six categories of info, including records of Trump's calls with foreign leaders, White House recordkeeping practices, and efforts to "claw back" or lock down documents buzzfeednews.com/article/zoetil…

The govt's assurance today to preserve records about Trump's convos w/ foreign leaders (for now) moots a temporary restraining order request. The judge urged the govt to do this rather than risk a formal ruling that she said one side "might not appreciate" buzzfeednews.com/article/zoetil…
(Although there won't be an order from the court requiring the preservation of these records, there can certainly be consequences if a lawyer makes a representation like this to a judge and it turns out to be false)
