So unsurprisingly, since the weekend is where media bury news, this piece from the @nytimes dropped.
It's about how Biden is losing money and his strategists had a closed door emergency meeting with fundraisers.

I know many of you cancelled your subscriptions, so here are some key points. Biden had promised press could be at fundraisers. They were barred.

The Biden people have a series of concerns, chief among them Elizabeth Warren and Biden's own rambling talks that signal him as out of touch--like the record player story. They also worry that Harris, Buttigieg and Booker are eating into his donor base.

Some bizarre claims were made by Biden's strategists, which makes one think they should get out more. They claim Warren has beaten Biden two quarters running because Warren has been fundraising longer and Biden doesn't have her fundraising capabilities.

That is just false. Biden was Obama's VP, which he reiterates every other sentence, he was in the Senate for nearly 40yrs, he had two (albeit wildly failed) previous presidential runs, and he has the highest name recognition of anyone running. That claim is fake news.

This piece is like @nytimes assigned the story, but then were afraid to publish it, so they hid it in the Sat news dump. As I reported this week, not asked here: Why can't the putative frontrunner raise money? Why won't he reveal his donor numbers like the others? A conundrum.
