No but I was and my husband was. He was blinded and almost killed fighting terrorists. So I have a good idea how terrible war is and don't want one. However, I know that ISIS, al-Qaeda, and other organizations never tire of fighting or wanting to target the west. I'm not saying
war but I am saying not to forget that we can't just walk away from people who want to destroy us and our way of life. They have no problem waiting for us to get too tired of war - and just when we think everything is fine they will strike us again. Let's not give them
sanctuaries to strike us again from safe havens in #Syria #Afghanistan or anywhere. We have to be smarter and more patient. Also, let's not give Russia, Iran or Turkey the upper hand. #sanctions may work but we must be vigilant.
