I wasn't treated/ diagnosed for 11 mos-despite a trip to the MAYO clinic.
B4 the #ACA, we went through our life savings on my medical care. 😪

I was eventually diagnosed w/E. Chaffeensis, Rickettsia of unknown origin, & #Lyme.
The bacteria went to my spinal cord & brain.
Treatment was too late.
I've had 8 spinal taps so far...

During one of my hospitalizations, I caught Vanc-resistant C. Difficile. I fought it for 3.5 yrs but had to have 2 FM transplants to save my intestines/ life.

Bc of the Coxsackie B4 virus & post viral sydrome + "tick bite" syndrome (#Lyme), I've lost most use of my left side. (I'm left-handed) 😔
I use a wheelchair/walker/cane, depending on my pain & balance.
My now 78-year-old mom loads/unloads my walker. She's exhausted.

I see my Infectious Disease Dr every 3 mos (since 2012).
I have 2-3 Dr apots/wk + aqua therapy (I've already gone for a yr) & Physical Therapy.
My mom has to drive me to all of them.
