This article deals with virtually nothing in my Caravan piece about #TulsiGabbard. It begins labeling me — w/out a shred of evidence — a "Khalistani separatist" & expands by ignoring every one of the major organizations I dealt with in my article, including OFBJP, HSS, & VHPA.
It doesn't even mention the BJP. It doesn't mention the name "Ram Madhav" even once despite Madhav being a main character in my article, it doesn't mention #TulsiGabbard's opposition to H. Res. 417 or the human rights hearing — or how HSS/OFBJP fundraised 4 her on her opposition.
It falsely states that I connect #TulsiGabbard to the RSS via Hindu American Foundation, an org that plays a minor role in my article — yet I actually connect her to the RSS via her intimate relationship w/key HSS/OFBJP/VHPA executives & participation in RSS affiliated events.
It further falsely states that I connect #TulsiGabbard to the RSS via the IDRF, another org that plays a minor role in my article & which I only mention in connection her re: 1 of dozens of her donors being an IDRF exec. My focus is on OFBJP/HSS/VHPA, which are not mentioned.
The article entirely ignores the issue of #TulsiGabbard speaking at two OFBJP banquets. It doesn't mention how her campaign apparently financed one of those banquets. It doesn't mention any of the approx 10 RSS/HSS/VHPA/OFBJP events she spoke at in 2-3 years.
The article ignores quotes from #TulsiGabbard donors like Bharat Barai — who is indisputably Modi's greatest/longest champion in the USA, hosting repeated mass video conferences w/him for years — that she was a "staunch" supporter of Modi BEFORE he was elected.
The article doesn't even mention two other main characters in my Caravan article — Ramesh Bhutada & Vijay Pallod — or how they are founding fathers of the Sangh in America, w/Bhutada currently serving as HSS VP & frequently hosting RSS chief in his home. Or how they were at her w
The article doesn't mention that Bhutada & Pallod were both key figures in the campaign by the RSS's US affiliates to support Modi's elections — Pallod, who has hosted fundraisers for Gabbard, traveled to India to campaign for Modi while Bhutada organized 100s for phone-banks.
The article makes no mention of #TulsiGabbard meeting with the BJP President, BJP Foreign Affairs Cell Chief, & RSS Spokesperson in DC almost a year before Modi was elected — or the $90,000+ she got from OFBJP/HSS/VHPA leadership in the 2 months surrounding that meeting.
<- ... at her wedding
The article doesn't mention how #TulsiGabbard spoke alongside the BJP's Foreign Affairs Cell Chief at an OFBJP banquet celebrating Modi's election — & was assured of her re-election to a 2nd term by that foreign political operative — then wore a BJP sash. AND financed the event.
The article DOES, however, engage in whitewashing of Modi, a man who was banned from entering the US for 10 years because of his role in 2002 Gujarat Pogrom — falsely saying India's Supreme Ct. found him "innocent" (it merely declared there was not enough evidence to prosecute).
The article's whitewashing of Modi also includes RSS-style apologia for the 2002 Gujarat Pogrom, which is "what about Godhra?" Thus, it victim blames & endorses the war crime of "collective punishment" by suggesting 1000s of innocents deserved to die for something they didn't do.
